Day started S2Tech in 1997 with a vision to apply information technology to improve health outcomes and reduce costs for people. Day is always focused and inspires everyone on providing excellent quality and delivering beyond what is expected in an effort to "delight" the client. This model propelled the company into the ranks of the Inc. 500 in 2003 and 2004 as well as a Regional Chamber and Growth Association Top 50 technology company.
Day believes in a strong educational program for his employees. Day himself is a graduate of the Franklin Covey Seven Habits signature program; Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results program; the Dale Carnegie program and is a Competent Toastmaster. He assures that everyone who joins S2Tech receives training in Stephen Covey's "Seven Habits of Highly Successful People", technical and industry-related training and leadership skills.
Day Veerlapati established the Fortune Fund to support educational opportunities for children from impoverished families in rural Indian communities. Financial assistance from the Fund enables the children's parents, farmers or laborers who cannot afford the luxury of an education, to let their children go to school and allows them to keep their children in school much longer than possible without financial support. Day enjoys reading books and taking walks. A philosophy he has instilled in the company is for everyone to "Sharpen their saw" and grow a little more as every day passes.
Matt supports S2Tech by understanding the changing business market and setting a strategic direction for the organization. In the role of COO, Matt has oversight for sales, business development, contract negotiations, marketing, operational projects, and recruiting functions. Matt views engagement with both internal and external stakeholders as the most critical component in making decisions that align with our core value of ensuring the overall success of our clients while concurrently positioning S2Tech for market growth.
“Embrace the Change” is a mindset often referenced by Matt during interactions with clients and colleagues. Project needs continue to shift as clients focus on improving business outcomes through technical innovation and process/business re-engineering. Matt sees change as an opportunity to challenge our creativity to become more efficient, more innovative, and ultimately is our best opportunity to highlight to our clients the value of a partnership with S2Tech. At S2Tech, we “Embrace the Change” by ensuring our clients have both solutions and services aligned towards tomorrow’s challenges – to us change enables innovation.
When asked about a company attribute that stood out, Matt pointed to both integrity and culture. Matt shared that acting with integrity while fulfilling commitments to both clients and employees, shape the daily decisions at S2Tech. He shared “we do what we say” and stated that a company’s culture consisting of values, behaviors, inclusion, accountability, and employee welfare – are ultimately the best indicators for the type of partner an organization will be.
Matt is based in North Carolina and enjoys spending time and making memories with his family.
Brenda’s role at S2Tech is to enable her Resource Management team to be all they can be. Resource Management is responsible for 3 main areas, Human Resource, Training & Career development, and Staffing. We believe that continuous learning and comprehensive communication are important to having happy employees who will be loyal to the company.
A philosophy she believes in and has instilled in people here is, “All people WANT to do a good job; some just need extra guidance and mentoring from time to time. Be willing to share knowledge and experience with others and you will reap the rewards.“ We strive to stay connected to our employees, our clients and the industry to provide the best available training programs.
She points out that with the technology continually evolving, the way work gets done is rapidly changing, our clients’ needs change. This presents a big challenge in how to keep our loyal staff trained to match the market place. It also means figuring out how to attract new candidates with different skills and experience.
Our training and Career Development staff continually works on providing new training programs and learning opportunities for existing employees. Our Talent Acquisition staff stay abreast of what is happening in our industry; they network extensively and do research to keep up with the constantly changing environment.
Brenda loves reading books, traveling and cooking. She enjoys growing her own herbs and flowers. She loves to play Golf, annually takes out time to ski and is an avid College football fan (Go Dawgs!) and a huge supporter of the Atlanta Falcons.
Srinivas’ role is Director - Client Relations. He is responsible for growing and servicing T&M accounts. His drive and focus has always been towards achieving high employee satisfaction and growth while maintaining strong client relationships.
Srinivas is passionate about the overall growth of the company. One of his favorite quotes is from Shep Hyken – “If we consistently exceed the expectations of employees, they will consistently exceed the expectation of our customers”.
Srinivas has enjoyed the freedom that one is offered at S2Tech to excel. Over the years he has assumed a variety of roles and has he thinks he has been fortunate enough to experience the challenges and rewards that come along with them. The areas of his contributions include: account management, recruiting, infrastructure, human resources, purchasing, finance, marketing and management.
Flying excites him to the extent that he has signed up lessons. Travel and seeing new places are his passion.
Carri Stephens is the S2Tech’s Vice President overseeing Quality Services and Fixed Price Delivery. She is a certified Project Manager Professional, Certified Scrum Master and has extensive experience managing healthcare system development projects utilizing Agile methodology.
Carri graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She began her career in the IT industry in 1998 and before joining S2Tech, served in various roles in government and commercial healthcare including Project Manager and Test Manager over large-scale system development and implementation projects.
Carri mentions that our industry is always changing – Medicaid programs are dynamic and ever-changing entities that bring about new and exciting opportunities all the time. You have to spend the time talking to others and learning what is going on in the industry (locally and nationally) at the time to keep in tune with the most recent advancements.
In her role she is focused on defining the company’s quality solutions including Quality Assurance, Quality Control (Testing Solutions) and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V). Carri has a track record of success in managing large scale, firm-fixed price projects from start to finish.
Doug manages the Mississippi Medicaid account for S2Tech. We provide maintenance support, production monitoring/on call support, and new enhancement support. We have Project Managers, Technical Leads/Coordinators, Business Analysts, QA Analysts, COBOL Developers, xPressions Developers, COGNOS Developers, BLAZE Developers, and JAVA Developers on the project.
The one thing Doug enjoys the most at S2Tech are the people. We have a great group of people that are fun to be around and help each other no matter what the issue is at hand. They always pull together to get the work done and take pride in what they do. We really do live by our mantra "Delight the Client" and while we are delighting the client we are making a difference, making friends, and having fun
During his career Doug has had the opportunity to work with a lot of great folks. The all have two things in common, they care about people and are totally dedicated to their assignments. They do whatever is necessary to get the job done and get it done correctly. Doug spent many long hours implementing new systems and at the end of each and every one there came a deep satisfaction that only comes when you know you given your best to make it successful. That is what he brings to S2Tech - care about people and a strong dedication to what we are doing.
Doug likes to spend time with my family and read when he can find time. He also likes to work with his hands, he work on his cars and work on things around the house.
Priyanka is in charge of the legal department here at S2Tech. She works in close collaboration with the executive team, and department heads on strategic business initiatives, and legal matters. Priyanka has led development, and implementation of company-wide policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance workflow and ensure legal compliance.
In her previous roles Priyanka served as a Mediator, St. Louis City Circuit Court and St. Charles County Family Court. She also served as a Prosecutor representing City of Chicago Police Officers in administrative hearings.
Besides hitting winning punches in the legal world, she dabbles in Boxing, which is her favorite sport.
As a Director - Resource Management, Srikanth is responsible for Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Training & Development, Immigrations and other employee related processes. He considers himself as a people person and is passionate about providing personal and professional growth opportunities to current and prospective members of S2Tech family.
"People don't buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it" is Srikanth's philosophy while interacting with prospective employees. Compassion is key at S2Tech he says, once we understand the impact ABD population through S2Tech's work in various state Medicaid projects, rest of the conversation becomes easy. All our employees have sense of fulfillment working on these projects.

Srikanth enjoys weightlifting is also certified in personal training. He believes in continues learning and enjoys taking personal development programs.
