We work creatively with our clients to provide them quality solutions at the best possible value--never taking any shortcuts.
History shows us that those who bond together during challenging times succeed. They find ways to partner to overcome any obstacles. That is why S2Tech has become a valuable partner to companies around the world. Proactive in its approach, S2Tech bridges the world with technology, finding ways to work smarter AND less expensively. Our goal has been to help other companies succeed, and it is a goal we consistently exceed.
Over the past 12 years, S2Tech has grown and experienced many triumphs. Recently we were recognized as one of the Top 20 Minority Business Enterprise Companies in Missouri. Despite tough times, we’ve continue to delight our clients and sustain a quality workforce across the globe. We’ve developed new business opportunities and helped our clients reduce costs and work more efficiently.
As we prepare for new initiatives in the healthcare industry—including ICD-10 /5010, fraud investigation, and electronic health records-- we continue to push forward to help our clients succeed. Together, we can face today’s challenges with great optimism.

Senior Vice President
Background and Family
Born in 1947, Worth grew up on U.S. Marine bases in the southeastern United States. He attended Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and worked as a cooperative education student with the Ford Motor Company’s Hapeville Assembly Plant in Atlanta, Georgia. After college, Worth joined the U.S Air Force and was stationed in Texas and Brindisi, Italy.
His data processing experience began in 1974 when he accepted a position as a programmer with West Point Pepperrell in Lanett, Alabama. After three years, Worth joined Consultec, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, as a programmer analyst. He subsequently spent more than 29 years with Consultec (which was acquired by Affiliated Computer Services in 1999) in roles of increasing responsibility from programming to project management to Senior Vice President of ACS’ State Healthcare division.
Today, Worth lives in Canton, Georgia, with his wife, Pamela, who retired in 2009 after teaching school for more than 29 years. Pam holds a Masters Degree and a Six Year Degree in Elementary Education with a Gifted Endorsement, and has been named in the Who’s Who of American Teachers in three different years in her teaching career. They have been married for 40 years and have two sons. Their oldest son, Jed, lives in the Atlanta area and works for Travelers. Their youngest son, Luke, is serving with the United States Coast Guard and is currently stationed with the 91101 Maritime Safety and Security Team in Seattle, Washington.
Worth’s Comments on S2Tech
I am very excited about the growth opportunities for S2Tech as we start the second decade of the 21st century; not only in our core competency area, Medicaid, but also in additional public and private vertical markets. I am looking forward to working with everyone in the company to accelerate our growth while ensuring that each client remains delighted with our services.
In my former role as ACS’ Senior Vice President of Fiscal Agent Operations, S2Tech provided services to many of the Medicaid operational accounts for which I was responsible. In every account supported by the company, S2Tech’s President, Day Veerlapati, ensured that the company’s project teams continually went above and beyond their contractual requirements in providing quality staff and excellent levels of service. I have known Day since the early 2000’s and admire his quiet leadership qualities and honest, straightforward business manner. I can think of no organization with which I would rather be associated.
Brenda Yockey
V.P. of Business Development
Brenda is the Vice President of Business Development for S2Tech. She has been associated with the Company for the past 9 years. With 16 years of focused experience related to the MMIS industry, she has worked for the past 30 years in the Information Technology field in HR, Recruiting or Managerial roles. She was the Manager of Human Resources for American Software, an international Atlanta based software firm until she decided to join Consultec. She worked for Consultec/ACS for 7 years where her last position was Manager of Recruiting. Prior to starting her consulting firm, she worked as Director of Recruiting for a small start up Internet Security firm called METASES. She was the CEO and President of HR Smart Solutions, a small Atlanta based consulting firm, where S2Tech was one of her valued clients. Brenda had the privilege of working closely with Day in the area of Business Development for close to 4 years prior to joining S2Tech. Day’s philosophy regarding “delight” the client helped her decide to join the organization when Day decided to expand his management team.
Brenda is a certified Facilitator of Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Leadership, the 8th Habit for S2Tech. She travels both nationally and internationally sharing these programs with S2Tech employees.
Born in Augusta, GA, her father was in the Army and Brenda had the opportunity to travel and live abroad as a child. Brenda graduated from Augusta College with a degree in History and Secondary Education. After a brief stint teaching High School she embarked on a management career in banking prior to moving into the IT field. Brenda and her husband Jim, who is an Associate Broker in Real Estate, live in Atlanta, GA. Their son Steve, who lives in San Francisco, is a Graduate of NYU’s Tish School of the Arts with an MFA. Steve is teaching at a local community college and is a playwright. Brenda is also a member of the Board of Directors of Caldwell Group, LTD, a company specializing in meeting and incentive travel planning and execution, headquartered in Atlanta, GA.
Mike Spangler
Vice President, Products and Services
We consistently hear from our customers that they are looking for a partner who can take on a defined scope of work and manage it to a successful completion. We’re listening! With the addition of Mike to the S2Tech executive team in August 2010, we now have an experienced senior project executive who can lead S2Tech in providing complete project management and implementation services.
Mike’s professional experience began in 1989 with Systemhouse Inc where he spent 4 years as a programmer, primarily in the development of Title IV-A eligibility determination solutions. In 1993 he moved to Consultec to parlay his eligibility system experience into a project lead and eventually a project management role on another IV-A project. Mike moved over to Consultec’s MMIS line of business in 1997. As Consultec became part of ACS, which in turn became part of Xerox, Mike took on roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in a program management role for the implementation of multiple concurrent MMIS implementations.
Mike is passionate about growth. He has implemented mentoring programs to develop the potential leaders within (and around) his organization and he has seen many of his team grow to levels beyond what they otherwise may have been able to achieve. He also recognizes that the capacity of an organization is a direct reflection of the capacity of its leader and thus the need to continually sharpen his own saw. Mike notes, “Change is inherent to the healthcare IT industry. If your organization doesn’t continually grow, the industry will pass you by.”
Mike hales from Minnesota where he has lived for more than 10 years with his wife, Bev, and his two children. His faith is a cornerstone of who he is and he enjoys serving wherever he can. His family loves to camp, bike, fish, hunt and do pretty much anything else that involves being outdoors.
Kim Hobratschk
Human Resource Manager
Kim Hobratschk is the Human Resource Manager for S2Tech. She has been with the company for the past 4 years with 2 years of prior experience in Human Resources before joining the company. Kim also has knowledge in Office Management, Accounting, and Payroll processing.
Born in Alexandria, LA, in 1979, Kim graduated from Central Missouri State University, in Warrensburg, MO, in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration. She and her husband, Matt, live in Jefferson City, MO with their infant son, Seth where she works from her home office for S2Tech.
Srinivas Tutika
Sr. International Resourcing Manager
Srinivas Tutika is the Recruiting Manager at S2Tech. He joined the company in spring of 2006. He is responsible for all the staffing needs for S2Tech projects and its clients’ projects. He currently has responsibility for a team of onshore and an offshore team of recruiters.
He earned an MBA degree from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India with specialization in Marketing & Finance. He also earned a MBA degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with specialization in Management Information Systems and General Business Administration.
Srinivas has experience in both manufacturing and services industries and has experience in a variety of company operations including recruiting, human resources, purchasing, finance & accounts, marketing and management.
Srinivas currently lives in the Valley Park area with his wife, Padmaja and daughter Aarushi.
